The SALAAM project has developed Anti-Racism Training for Local Authority Staff in Ireland, informed by research involving seven Local Authorities and experiences from Muslim communities in their service areas.

• Delivered in-person by two SALAAM trainers, the training raises awareness of existing legislation and support mechanisms while also addressing the root causes and manifestations of racism.
• Participants of this training will gain a deep understanding of their responsibility in promoting anti-racist behaviour, identifying instances of everyday racism, leveraging relevant legislation, and effectively reporting racist incidents.
